32nd Annual Hall of Honor Set for April 24, 2026

The Sidney City Schools Hall of Honor Committee proudly announces the Class of 2025. This year's inductees include Col. (Ret.) Stephen Banks (SHS 1994), a decorated military leader whose distinguished service and leadership have exemplified honor and sacrifice; Sr. Marie Emmanuel (SHS 1958), a consecrated servant of God faithfully spreading the Catholic faith through her work; and Tom Martin (SHS 1982), a visionary community and business leader whose entrepreneurial spirit and civic dedication have made a lasting impact on the Sidney and Shelby County community. 

“We’re proud to celebrate these three exceptional individuals whose achievements and dedication have made a lasting impact on their communities and beyond,” said Hall of Honor Chairman Rudy Keister.

Sidney City Schools is pleased to announce the 32nd annual Hall of Honor Induction Ceremony set to take place on Friday, April 24, 2026. A reception will precede the induction ceremony, beginning at 6:00 PM at Sidney High School, and the ceremony will begin at 7:00 PM in the Sidney High School Auditorium. (Both events are open to the public.)

“Each year we have been able to present an array of outstanding inductees to the Hall, and this year is no different,” added Keister. “This year’s class of inductees has ambitiously touched the lives of many through their notable skills and educational impact.”
